Building on the success of the original Iota, Neat have launched the MK2 version to critical acclaim.
Almost identical sized cabinet, but with a nice smoother edge to it, the Iota 2 continues to re-define what is possible from a small speaker. Sticking with a ribbon tweeter, Neat have managed to squeeze out even more performance from this tiny package.

The IOTA II is a brand new version of the classic Iota model, which was originally launched in 2011. It has been upgraded with a new bass/midrange drive unit and a revised crossover. The original Iota delivered a performance far greater than might be expected from such an impossibly small 2-way design, but these new refinements bestow improved bass extension and massive scale, to an extent that seems to defy the laws of physics.
As always with Neat loudspeakers, internal components are chosen with great care to attain ideal matching of the drive units. The crossover network features low tolerance air core inductors and polypropylene capacitors, all hard-wired to minimise disruption to the signal path.
The IOTA II gives an astonishing presentation of scale which suggests a far larger speaker, but is also very flexible in placement. The compact and stylish cabinet can be used on stands, bookshelves, and desktops in most domestic situations.
