Stereo Socks - Incensed to Kill. The Beastie Boys inspired Socks supplied in a Stereo Pair (L and R)

The debut album of NYC punk-rap trio, The Beastie Boys, laid much of the groundwork for hip-hop. 30-some years later, it's hard to look back and not label Mike D, Ad-Rock and the late, great MCA as geniuses.

The front cover depicts the back of an airplane. But when you see the other side you realize the airplane has crashed against a mountain, in a style that very much resembles a joint being put out against a wall.

An interesting remake of this concept can be found in Eminem’s 2018 album “Kamikaze”.
