Stereo Socks - The Cream of the Land. Prodigy inspired Socks supplied in a Stereo Pair (L and R)
Originally, “The Fat of the Land”, an expression similar to the French “crème de la crème”, was going to be appropriately represent by a rotating Doner Kebab, with the name of the album.
The final result ended up being much more creative and surprising: a dancing crab, with an augmented claw that makes it look like he’s sticking two fingers (an obscene gesture for the British) to the world.
It became the fastest selling dance album in the UK, and got an undesired second run of good sales after the passing of lead singer Keith Flint in March 2019.
