Stereo Socks - Young Men Don't Weep. The Cure inspired Socks supplied in a Stereo Pair (L and R)

In 1980, the British band “The Cure” prepared a new release to approach the American and international markets. Eight tracks from their first album “Three Imaginary Boys”, plus some new songs, a new name and cover, and The Cure’s first compilation was ready to reach new audiences.
And if you think that “Boys Don’t Cry” is very politically incorrect by today’s standards, keep in mind that its first single was actually called “Killing an Arab”.
Being a “remake” of a previously released work, the Egyptian themed cover comes from a detail in the back artwork of “Three Imaginary Boys”, used to illustrate the song “Fire in Cairo”.
